disability people are discouraged from becoming independent, this is true. I think in most places it's shifting towards "allowing" them to make up to a certain amount
which should be encouraged I think and not penalized or deducted, that doesn't sound like it's helping anyone except the government and doesn't motivate people on disability very much. I have a lot of friends on disability dole and they don't wanna work or do anything, young dudes that aren't that disabled.
