I have spent more time listening to music than this entire forum several times over.
You forget that I'm a hikikomori. -

My complaint is that you people are stuck in the pop paradigm instead of exploring deeper and learning what "music" can provide.
There is so much more to it.
I don't dislike the music, it's just that I'm pointing out it's safe and cliche. -

This kind of music isn't meant to be approached like a pop song.
You experience this kind of music.
If you want some album recommendations I'll post -

This is why you probably dislike talking to humans in person I guess? A conversation with you at a restaurant would be horribly awkward because you get offended at the slightest thing or someone having a different preference than you.
And yeah, the song wasnt that good or bad. There wasn't a bunch of secret nuance to it. If there was, what was it ? Explain it to me instead of trying to condescend me.
Stuff like Tool is pop.
This kind is music is experiential, it's all about the subtle nuances, the texture, the atmosphere.
You don't approach this like a pop song, more like a film. -

Your life is worthless, you dying would free up resources for people who actually deserve it.
This whole forum (aside for me, sophia and Fona) should kill themselves. -

This one. I listened.
I don't dislike it. It's not bad. Sounds like something I could easily make myself and not very innovative at all. I've kind of already heard the same song by a bunch of different artists so I'm not sure why you think it's so unique but I also think I know why you do.
I'm not scared to like new music or music that you're into. I just have a hard time taking you seriously when you seem to automatically discredit anyone who listens to bands like Tool who clearly have far superior music composition intellect than 99% of the bands out there yet its unseen because you ovcuously have to appreciate the art of fucked up time signatures and weird ass riffs throughout an entire song/album/setlist.
The fact that's all you get from hearing the song says it all.
You're an unwashed plebe who's unable to appreciate subtly.
You keep approaching music from the perspective of technicality instead of listening to the texture and atmsophere of a song.
As for Tool, it's a meme I don't care about them either way, they aren't bad but they aren't special either, just mediocre progressive rock. -
