Very true. Making money via whatever means + making good choices + a plan to live a more and more conscientiousness life as you get older, seems to be a good path.
The key word is "Conscientiousness", but only as you get older. All of the idiots that don't make better choices as they age, go into the shitter. -

Yes, but well over half of all college grads remain in jobs that require no college education.
Due to statistics, I would say a person is better off not going to college, living below their means, saving/investing, and living a healthy lifestyle.
It seems that a lot of people don't even live within their means and its usually due to a nice vehicle with full coverage insurance and either a house/condo or nice high end apartment.
