They always receive it well, usually blush, act flattered and say thank you and sometimes, just sometimes, you can pursue and accrue some digits.
That's because you told them to carry on and walked away. Eliminates any possibility of rejection.
Had you asked for their number, they'd probably be weirded out and say they had a boyfriend or something.
It helps if you're attractive as well, which you and me are (and incredibly so) but sploo is a dough boy version of Ted Bundy so this will probably not work well. -
