I spent the day in bed as I was so tired from the week and my long commute. It's a grey, cloudy and not warm day here.

On July 15th the provisions of the Digital Economy Act 2017 related to pornography will become enacted into law.

In order to facilitate this change we will be requiring all members in the UK, or accessing via a UK based IP address to verify their age and identity with the administration.

I will require a scanned/clearly photographed copy of your government issued ID plus proof of address to be PMed to me before this time in order for your account not to be banned.

The administration fee for verification will be £15/€20/$25, payable via paypal.

TBH I don't really buy it. Too many people would notice they were on an old ship, same way you can tell a new building from an older one.

But then again I won't say it didn't happen, the Brits are sneaky jedi bastards and would pull off shenanigans like that on their day off, just to stay in practice.

Huawei has been removed the from the SD Association, a non-profit group that sets the standards for SD and microSD cards.

likely means that future Huawei devices won't be able to use microSD cards. Huawei does have its own Nano Memory Card format

Meanwhile, the Wi-Fi Alliance has "temporarily restricted" Huawei

Hypothetically in the future if you placed devices that were backdoored by china behind infrastructure that was backdoored by the nsa would you have a secure set up?

LMAO seriously? That'd be a lot of work.

I sometimes wonder if me pointing out that all his favourite libertarian philosophers were jedis who lived the complete opposite to how they preached is one of the things that pushed malice off the edge.

He's notable for being an open Holocaust "skeptic". Quite a lot of Jedis are, like David Cole-Stein, it's not unusual, but it is unusual that you can be one and not have the rest of the Jedi establishment turn on you and turn your name into a dirty word.
