You just spout off ignorance and feed into the stereotypes of conservatives being ignorant loud mouthed hicks.

QFT funny how none of the MAGA idiots who won their elections didn’t bother to consider that their “victories” are also in question if any of that rigged election bs was fact.

Considering the mounting evidence I think it’s more likely the MAGA crew will be the focus of trials of crimes against humanity and treason. Drain the swamp indeed, starting with Trump, his loudmouth hypocrite supporters, and his family.
Americans will wait as Trump continues to attempt to slow the process, but clearly he’s fucked and obviously he knows it 🤣🙌🙌
  3. Originally posted by ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The bone spur slur is also a hoax. Trump's doctor did remove him from the draft temporarily, but as soon as the injury healed, he was back on the draft. These clowns only provide you with half-truths, because they know you're too stupid to do any actual research yourself.

Donald Trump is a draft-dodging coward

You really seem to enjoy making up stories to suit your narrative don’t you

    You want actual research. https://vietfactcheck.org/2020/09/15/did-trump-dodge-the-vietnam-war-draft/

After avoiding the draft in college, Trump graduated in 1968, the bloodiest year of the Vietnam War. He was a 22 year old athlete who stood 6 feet 2 inches tall. But despite being a perfect candidate for military service, Trump dodged the draft by making up a fake injury according to multiple sources.

These sources include Trump’s advisors and the family of the doctor who provided Trump with the false diagnosis. Here is what they have said:

Trump’s former lawyer testified under oath to Congress that when he asked for medical records of the injury, Trump provided none, revealed there was no foot surgery, and instructed his former lawyer to avoid answering questions from the press about it. His former lawyer noted that Trump told him, “You think I’m stupid, I wasn’t going to Vietnam.”

A former senior official from the Trump administration recently disclosed that Trump said that Vietnam War veterans did not know how to exploit the system to get out of serving.

The family of the doctor, who provided Trump with a letter to obtain the medical deferment, stated that their father, a podiatrist, often told them that he issued the letter as a favor to Trump’s father. At that time, Trump’s father was the landlord of the podiatrist’s office building.

Trump has repeatedly failed to provide proof of his medical condition (bone spurs) that disqualified him from serving in the military. He also struggles to recall the most basic facts about the alleged foot injury like which foot was affected. He has changed his story saying now it was both feet.

Today, Trump struggles to recall the most basic facts about the medical condition that was the basis for his final deferment. He doesn't remember the name of the doctor who provided him with the note of proof and has repeatedly failed to provide a copy of it to The New York Times. He's also forgotten which of his heels had the spurs, now just claiming it was both. (During the 2016 presidential election, the affliction wasn't noted by Dr. Harold Bornstein, a physician who performed a physical on Trump and found that he had "no significant medical problems." in his medical history)

    https://www.thewrap.com/how-donald-trump-avoided-the-draft-a-helpful-reminder/

Fortunately, according to the Atlantic, only 5 percent of people with spurs have “any pain at all.” Trump must have been truly unlucky: the Atlantic said he “would’ve been an extremely rare case to be debilitated by a spur at age 22.”

Trump is indeed a rare case: A man who not only had such terrible foot pain that he couldn’t serve, but also made a heroic recovery, soon after the war ended.

“Over a period of time, it healed up,” he told the Times, explaining that he hadn’t received surgery.

Let’s get this on the record – Donald J. Trump is a draft-dodging coward.

He had plenty of opportunities during the Vietnam War to join the ranks of the heroes he claims to admire, starting when he turned 18 and first became eligible for the draft in 1964. Instead he proceeded to obtain several student deferments over the next few years.

After graduating from college in 1968, he was no longer eligible for student status – so he got a medical deferment attributed to bone spurs. His 2016 presidential campaign acknowledged this was expected to be a short-term condition.

The United States didn’t withdraw from the war until 1973, but Trump never saw fit to join up. He was in his physical prime during these war years, between the ages of 18 and 27, and brags of being a great athlete in his younger days. He apparently enjoyed playing toy soldier at the New York Military Academy private boarding school.

Inside the extraordinary effort to save Trump from covid-19…ALL FOR FREE despite the fact that in his words “it’s no worse than the flu”

The president’s ‘don’t be afraid’ quote reeks not only of arrogance, but of ignorance, no Americans – have had access to the kind of treatment Trump received after testing positive for COVID-19.

According to Dr. Jonathan Reiner of George Washington University, "The president might be the only patient on the planet ever to receive this particular combination of medicines."

Trump announces he’s tested positive for Covid: Almost 48 hours later, Trump became terribly ill. Hours after his tweet announcing he and first lady Melania Trump had coronavirus infections, the president began a rapid spiral downward. His fever spiked, and his blood oxygen level fell below 94 percent, at one point dipping into the 80s. Sean Conley, the White House physician, attended the president at his bedside. Trump was given oxygen in an effort to stabilize him.
The doctors gave Trump an eight-gram dose of two monoclonal antibodies through an intravenous tube. That experimental treatment was what had required the FDA’s sign-off. He was also given a first dose of the antiviral drug remdesivir, also by IV. That drug was authorized for use but still hard to get for many patients because it was in short supply.

Typically, doctors space out treatments to measure a patient’s response. Some drugs, such as monoclonal antibodies, are most effective if they’re administered early in the course of an infection. Others, such as remdesivir, are most effective when they’re given later, after a patient has become critically ill. But Trump’s doctors threw everything they could at the virus all at once. His condition appeared to stabilize somewhat as the day wore on, but his doctors, still fearing he might need to go on a ventilator, decided to move him to the hospital. It was too risky at that point to stay at the White House.

Trump’s condition worsened early Saturday. His blood oxygen level dropped to 93 percent, and he was given the powerful steroid dexamethasone, which is usually administered if someone is extremely ill (the normal blood oxygen level is between 95 and 100 percent). The drug was believed to improve survival in coronavirus patients receiving supplemental oxygen. The president was on a dizzying array of emergency medicines by now — all at once.

By Thursday there were concerns about Trump needing to go on a ventilator, while medical professionals with knowledge of his condition—said Trump's blood oxygen level was dangerously low and he had a lung complication related to pneumonia called lung infiltrates.
According to the National Institutes of Health, that issue is related to a “hyper-inflammation phase” that usually occurs during the late stages of a Covid-19 infection.

While you’re correct, Hitlery did run a terrible campaign

That “narrative” is actually based on facts

Of course the Mueller report laid out facts on both sides but did not reach a conclusion. Barr’s letter said that “the Special Counsel states that ‘while this report does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him.’

Funny how MAGAts will accept findings that support their narrative, while rejecting so many that don’t 🤔
  13. Originally posted by mmQ I think Hillary knew she lost too but claimed they cheated to win. Same with Trump. Now the precedent has been set that basically every election could very well be rigged and no matter who wins, it probably wasn't fair. Every election is gonna be this from now on in some form or another.

Actually Hillary Clinton defeated Republican candidate Donald Trump in the popular vote by nearly three million ballots, according to the final count. This margin didn’t change the fact that Trump became president in 2016 the electoral vote determines the winner.

In fact Hillary Clinton conceded the White House race to President-elect Donald Trump on Wednesday morning following the election, saying she hoped "he will be a successful president for all Americans." Clinton urged her supporters to "accept the result and look to the future.”

Not sure what “precedent” you’re referring to here..Unlike trump who’s still crying and pushing a false narrative two years later, Clinton accepted defeat like an adult. Never before have we had a president who schemed to overturn legitimate election results.

The January 6 committee has provided a compilation of the misinformation, disinformation and many rejected legal challenges by Trump and his allies to try to overturn votes.

    What Clinton did say:
Hillary Clinton is sticking with her conviction that the 2016 presidential election was not conducted legitimately, saying the details surrounding her loss are still unclear. “There’s just a lot that I think will be revealed. History will discover,” the Democratic Party’s 2016 presidential nominee continued. “But you don’t win by 3 million votes and have all this other shenanigans and stuff going on and not come away with an idea like, ‘Whoa, something’s not right here.’ That was a deep sense of unease.

    Far cry from:
    1. Trump tried to pressure secretaries of state to not certify.
Trump held early leads in vote counts in several states—not because he was ever actually ahead but because of discrepancies between when states count mail-in ballots and Election Day ballots. This so-called blue shift was written about long in advance of Election Day, and was partially the result of Trump’s own attacks on voting by mail. Nevertheless, Trump made this a key part of his election conspiracy theories (as many predicted he would), insisting that Democrats were somehow inserting fraudulent ballots into the vote count in the presidential election (something they apparently forgot to do in close House and Senate races, in which Democrats did worse than polls had anticipated). To help substantiate these falsehoods, the Trump campaign attempted to pressure secretaries of state to either not certify the results or “find” fraudulent ballots. In some states, spurred by the president’s fictions, pro-Trump mobs showed up at vote-counting sites and attempted to disrupt the proceedings.

    2. Trump tried to pressure state legislatures to overturn the results.
Trump personally attempted to coerce state legislators to overturn election results in a few states that voted for Biden, on the dubious legal theory that such legislatures could simply ignore the results of the popular vote in their own states. In Pennsylvania, Michigan, Arizona, and Georgia, Trump publicly urged Republican-controlled statehouses to “intervene to declare him the winner” and tweeted, “Hopefully the Courts and/or Legislatures will have the COURAGE to do what has to be done to maintain the integrity of our Elections, and the United States of America itself.” As my colleague Barton Gellman reported last year, the Trump campaign discussed “contingency plans to bypass election results and appoint loyal electors in battleground states where Republicans hold the legislative majority.”

    3. Trump tried to get the courts to overturn the results.
The embattled attorney general of Texas, Ken Paxton, filed an absurd lawsuit demanding that the Supreme Court void the election results in Wisconsin, Georgia, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, four states Biden won. The large majority of the Republican delegation in Congress, as well as nearly 20 Republican state attorneys general, supported this attempt to get the conservative-controlled Supreme Court to overturn the 2020 election results by fiat. The justices declined to crown Trump—but the amount of support this bid received from Republican elected officials is itself alarming.

As part of this effort, we can include the baseless “Kraken” lawsuits, filled with conspiracy theories about vote changes. Trump attempted to coerce the Justice Department into providing him with a pretext to overturn the results, but his attorney general, Bill Barr, refused to do so. Had DOJ leadership acquiesced, it would have lent credibility to Trump’s other corrupt schemes to reverse his loss. In a meeting with the acting attorney general, Jeffrey Rosen, according to contemporaneous notes taken by Rosen’s deputy, Trump said, “Just say that the election was corrupt [and] leave the rest to me.”

    4. Trump tried to pressure Mike Pence to overturn the results.
It is hard to pick the most ridiculous means of executing a coup, but insisting that the vice president has the power to unilaterally decide who won an election is up there. Trump publicly hounded Pence to reject the results prior to the traditionally ceremonial electoral-vote count in Congress, and Pence reportedly took that demand seriously enough to seek advice from Dan Quayle on the matter, “asking if there were any grounds to pause the certification because of ongoing legal challenges,” according to Costa and Woodward. That this got so far is profoundly disturbing, but even more disturbing is Eastman’s memo, which shows that the Trump team had thought very deliberately about how this scheme would work.

According to the memo, Pence could refuse to certify the results in particular states, giving Trump more electoral votes than Biden, and Pence would declare Trump the victor. If Democrats objected (as surely they would), the vote would then go to the House. Because the Constitution gives one vote to each state in disputed presidential elections, and the Republicans were the majority in 26 of 50 state delegations, the Democratic House majority would be unable to prevent Republicans from throwing the election to Trump. The election-law expert Ned Foley writes that the scheme would likely not have prevailed, given the Democrats’ ability to prevent a joint session, but that seems almost beside the point, which is that a sitting president and vice president were considering how to keep themselves in power following an election they lost.

    5. When all else failed, Trump tried to get a mob to overturn the results.
At the rally prior to the vote count in Congress, Trump urged the crowd to act, saying, “If you don’t fight like hell, you’re not going to have a country anymore.” The explicit goal of the rally and subsequent riot was to pressure Congress, and Pence in particular, into overturning the election results. Trump told his followers, “If Mike Pence does the right thing, we win the election.”

  15. Gotta love foreigners judging Americans I think most Europeans think Americans care what they think and that we take their thinking into consideration on a regular basis.

I’m not exactly sure why they do, maybe because some of us read The Economist or Guardian UK?

Honestly honestly, I would wager that younger Americans pay more much attention to Asia than all of Europe put together.

I think most Americans don’t really know what is actually supposed to be so advanced and sophisticated about Europe.
I think this American attitude isn’t so hostile as it is skeptical. Like if Europe is so great why aren’t they leading the world?

Like wasn’t the Euro supposed to put the dollar in its place?
Americans do not sense European power in anything other that bureaucratic stuff like GDPR and whatever we’re supposed to do with the Higgs Boson, thanks CERN, now what?

To put it succinctly, Americans my age take Europe for granted. We think that if you’re ever going to do something significant on the planet, you’re going to need our help, or it just won’t happen. The younger generation simply doesn’t respect Europe.

We all know they invented racism, colonialism, imperialism, slavery, the patriarchy, oppression, capitalism, industrial pollution and war.

We’re trying to teach them better, but you all probably invented self-flagellation too.

The reality of why they want this: cos Biden or Kamala will lose in 2024.

As a result they are trying to portray an unauthorised tour group - that shut down congress for just 2 hours, as the greatest disaster to hit life on earth since that asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs.

They even murdered a girl during the protest, shot her right in the throat for no valid reason. The murderer was never punished, and was even declared a hero by some.

Biden definitely sucks, yet not even closely worse than his predecessor, the snowflake who dishes it but cry’s like a bitch when it comes back to bite him.

If you actually believe Jan 6 was simply an “unauthorized tour group” you should watch the footage that was broadcast live around the globe on that day.

Then look into some psychotropic drugs to help you distinguish between fantasy and reality.

Ample evidence has emerged in addition to live broadcasts covering the events that occurred at the U.S. Capitol.

From television footage to cell phone videos to body cameras worn by the officers under siege, there is a remarkably comprehensive record of one of the worst attacks on democracy in U.S. history. Sorry NOT an unauthorized tour group 🤪

The riot was preceded by the “Stop the Steal” rally near the White House featuring President Donald Trump. Before Trump’s remarks, a flag was seen flying in the crowd with the message, “When Tyranny Becomes Law Rebellion Becomes DUTY!”

“And we fight,” Trump told the crowd. “We fight like hell. And if you don’t fight like hell, you’re not going to have a country anymore.”

That rhetoric presaged an unthinkable episode of political violence that briefly disrupted America’s peaceful transfer of power.

Crowds marched to the Capitol and fought through undermanned lines of police who lacked guidance from their superiors or help from the National Guard. The rioters broke into the building and began searching for lawmakers, forcing evacuations of the House and Senate.

In the crowd were members of the Oath Keepers, Proud Boys and other extremist groups. Some of the rioters had served in the military or law enforcement. A handful were active police officers.

Hundreds were injured and five people died during and after the insurrection.

The Capitol was declared secure at 8 p.m. Lawmakers convened again and certified that Trump had lost to Joe Biden.

Videos from Jan. 6 helped quickly disprove claims that left-wing anarchists staged the riot. The rioters were there to support Trump, as many have subsequently said in court.

Long before the riot Trump baselessly questioned the integrity of the 2020 U.S. election, which was certified as fair by the courts and by officials he appointed. It was Trump’s lies about a stolen election that motivated the rioters and fueled the insurrection.
