    Yeah okay, but it's still not a cry for it's mother. This is a female koala being attacked by a male koala, which is probably wanting to rape her. That's a cry of anger/upset it's making, like a scream. Female koalas are just high pitched. Babies will make a sharp yip when they are calling for their mothers, not this screaming, which is a common noise when being attacked. Males make the noise too, but its deeper and more rumbling. Adult koalas don't make that yip noise. Go watch some actual baby koalas and you'll hear what the noise sounds like.

    One highlight of my life was when I was traveling solo in Taiwan. Probably one of my happiest moments ever.

    I studied Chinese enough to at least have basic conversations. My written is not so good, but I was still able to talk to native speakers about different places in the city that I wanted to visit, and talk about the weather, and ask directions, and all that good shit.

    One of these people told me about a massive day long hike up to the top of a mountain with an absolutely amazing view overlooking city/mountains/ocean, so I decided to go.

    The hike was through some pretty thick jungle. It was a mixture of hobbly dirt and rock paths and massive, massive stretches of stairs. Idk if you guys have ever started climbing stairs and not been able to see the top, but it's pretty fucking imposing. There's stairs for hours and hours because otherwise it would be rock climbing. I think it was like 10,000 feet at the top but I'm not sure how far I hiked exactly. Took me about ten hours total. I saw quite a few monkeys and even a very rare to see species of fanged deer (muntjac). Lots of different butterflies and bugs and interesting plants, like the sugar palms which actually smell like sugar, or the giant corpse flower which is infamous for it's stink (wasn't in bloom though.)

    At the top there was this white temple type building with benches and a rest area. Amazingly, nobody was there. I decided to climb the stairs to the roof and have lunch when it began to drizzle, which was the best fucking thing ever. Sat on a bench, opened my umbrella, and proceeded to have some local jerky and a beer while I looked over one of the most dramatic landscapes I've ever seen in my life.

    I actually started laughing because I was so fucking happy. I felt like I had taken drugs, but no. It was good to honest waves of natural and hard earned euphoria that I've probably only felt a handful of times in my life.

    That night I went to the night market by my hotel and made friends with a sausage vendor, who started hooking up my sausages FAT every day after that because I was eating at least one a day every day I was in that city. It's a red sausage with a rice bun and pickled garlic, cilantro, onion, and some type of savory spicy sauce. Took one of those back to my hotel room with this seafood coleslaw things, some fried squid, and a small bottle of fresh star fruit juice (with pulp!) It was maybe five or six bucks total.

    Took a cold shower and fell asleep in bed watching Naruto in Chinese. It was easily one of the most satisfying days of my life, and I cannot wait until I'm able to do it again. I got some tripe noodles the next day and sat in the park feeling really tired and content. Absolutely worth the hike. It made me realize I need to move to an area where I am able to do that more regularly, so that's what I'm working on doing right now.

    For the sake of interesting conversation, and not having the same stories over and over, let's avoid marijuana/nicotine/alcohol stories unless yours is really good.

    The first drug I did that was not those three, was hydrocodone. It was actually prescribed to me, and I didn't know what it was back then lol. I thought it would be no different than ibuprofen or something. Took 7.5mg and actually felt the beginning of something nice, so I googled to see if it was anything good and was extremely surprised to find out it was an opiate.

    Did more research and decided that instead of using them to help my pain, I would get high instead. I think I actually worked my way up from 15mg to 22.5mg to 30mg, and before I knew it I was taking it everyday.

    I think the next two after that was probably like amphetamines and spice. This was around the time I became a drug dealer for a bit and had this 6'5 dude as backup/employee lol. I got him high on his birthday once and for some reason he decided he liked me enough to help me without any compensation.

    One time this dude fucked me over after I fronted him. I was going to forget about it honestly but this guy and some others who got robbed by him decided to kick his ass. Not really related to me, but that kid assumed it was I guess because he gave me my money back afterwards ($20 lol).

    Then some kids at my school got busted for dealing, so I decided to stop. And then my hydrocodone ran out, and so did my friends. So that was the end of that period of my life. Kinda funny how many people will be your friend just because you're holding.
