[nevermore overpopulate your whitweek]
not much has changed since the 60s. it wasn't about a bunch of protesting drugged out hippies like many people today believe. I remember.
it was over the Vietnam war, inequality, the draft, racism, unaffordable housing and rich men profiting from war. their kids got out of the draft but every other 18 year old man was expected to sign up for the draft and fight in combat. these boys dealt with vietnamese that would load their own kids with explosives then send them over to blow up the GIs. if the guys made it home many of them weren't the same.then they tried to tell them they're not old enough to drink.
and again our rights are being violated, racism & inequality still flourishes, housing is unaffordable, and the wealthy are still exploiting average americans and blaming the poor for it. don't people ever learn from our mistakes and our history??
we honor war heroes with fake patriotism by repeating the same mistakes they gave their very lives for to make things right.
