2018-09-17 at 1:03 AM UTC in We have a moral obligation to stop eating meat@ Lanny
It doesn't matter to me if they eat plants or animals. criticizing people for eating meat when they eat plants is why I did the research.
I posted my findings which are based on the scientific evidence. plants "do feel" and plant intelligence from NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC. It wasn't some hippy site.
feeling is feeling. If they meant it's only a respond they wouldn't have put the emphasis on "plants really do feel."
bottom line is people just want to ignore the scientific findings so they can justify plant eating and criticize meat eaters. lolz -
2018-09-16 at 8:45 PM UTC in PNAC: Rebuilding America's Defenses makes very little sense

that's true.
at first I thought the idea was off the hook until I considered other countries have been doing something similar. I also did some reading on it.
I think the idea is a realistic one but I don't think he needs to increase defense spending to do it especially if he's planning to eliminate some of the funding for NASA. It can be combined rather making it a whole new separate part of the military. -

It doesn't matter either way because I eat plants and animals.
but evidence is evidence. which found that "plants do feel."
plants don't have a central nervous system like humans and animals but scientists have found evidence that plants really can feel when we're touching them.
what degree of feeling does a life form have feel before you see it as feeling? plants should say ouch or be able to get away otherwise you can ignore the scientific evidence? -

2018-09-16 at 12:37 PM UTC in one funny thing about drugs andnot everybody is going to relate or understand a persons frame of mind whether the person is intoxicated or sober unless they specifically express that. It doesn't mean that person necessarily assumes everybody will relate or understand a persons frame of mind when they are intoxicated. not unless they're tripping on acid.
so maybe I don't understand your point. -

finding a doc that understands your particular needs sometimes it takes more then one visit or seeing different ones. they're like anyone else. some you get along with, some you don't. I have a good one but I really don't like most docs.
anxiety is caused by different things.find the cause,it can be treated really improving your life. I know what can happen when it goes untreated too.
you don't have to take my suggestion and I won't judge you for it. -

I know quite a bit about anxiety.
If you are having problems overcoming your anxiety symptoms you might consider seeing a doc to find out why. plus you could get treatment. -
2018-09-16 at 12:37 AM UTC in We have a moral obligation to stop eating meatthe lesser of two evils? having been deprived of choice?
vegans and vegetarians eat plants so I got this information from national geographic (facts based on evidence) not some hippy tree hugger site
there is such a thing as plant intelligence.
plants are capable of solving problems and learning from past experiences.
we tend to judge plants not as autonomous organisms but in terms of what they can do for us. plants are astonishing in their own right and deserve to be given the same ethical status as animals, says richard mabey.
plants don't have a central nervous system like humans and animals but scientists have found evidence that plants really can feel when we're touching them.
science is now revealing that plants are very aware and even have ways of communicating. plants can have sex at long distances and communicate with approximately 20 more senses than an animal has.
and there is video of how some plants respond to being attacked.

Originally posted by Nil The smoke was pretty bad here from fires in BC, probably a less than what you experienced but still august in Edmonton looked like some shit from blade runner
yeah that's pretty bad. you can't breathe in that. eugene oregon where I live didn't have it that bad this year. last year was though. still a lot of places in oregon are gone due to wildfires.
people that don't live in these areas don't fully understand how devastating and dangerous wildfires are.
I'm glad rain is coming but I'll miss summer weather. -
2018-09-15 at 7:48 PM UTC in Hitting the gymI often wonder why people spend money on a gym. If a person is serious about getting in shape that can be done at home with different exercises and some commitment every day.
I started doing different exercises at home. I also put sand in 2 gallon jugs adding more sand as my arms and legs got stronger and more fit. I also took walks, rode a bicycle, roller skated all over town, and swam. I did just about anything to challenge my physical abilities.
you can feel your muscles tighten during exercises so a coach isn't needed if you listen to your body. I was in the best shape of my life.
so if I'm guessing going to the gym is more of a social thing rather than to get in shape? -

yes, you are being mean. If you don't like how someone is there is block button isn't there?
I'm sorry I butted in. It really wasn't my place. but I just hate seeing people be mean when it's easier to just walk away.
