After drinking too much baijiu and taking some exotic drugs the man inserted a bat up his anus on a dare from his partner. The bat in turn started to chew on the man's colon lining trying to free himself. The man's partner pulled out the struggling bat and called the ambulance for help. Local authorities kept this incident quiet for obvious reasons.
The patient arrived at the hospital with a missing testickle and profuse bleeding from his anus. After a few days the patient developed a bad cough and passed away.

Poverty and Child Prostitution in Ethiopia

Ethiopia, 85 million people, almost half of its population is under 14 years of age. In rural and urban areas, children often begin working at 5 years. Poverty, death of one or both parents, child trafficking, forced early marriage are key factors that push children into work, above all young girls to be involved in commercial sex work. Around 90,000 children were found to be working in prostitution, over 50% started engaging in prostitution below 16 years of age. Child prostitution in Ethiopia is increasing incredibly during the last 5 years. Sex exploitation has devastating consequences for minors: physical and psychological trauma, HIV, diseases, drug addiction (qat abuse), unwanted pregnancy. A body is sold at a price of between 10 and 60 birr (0.40 – 2.40 €). The belief is the young girls are HIV free.

Answer: The answer is more complicated than this "either/or" question allows. On the one hand, there is no scientific proof people are born homosexual. Since the 1980s, researchers have tried to find a biological cause for homosexuality, studying genes, brains, hormones, twins and more. They found no biological or genetic cause. In fact, twin studies provide strong evidence that the predominate things that lead to homosexuality have to do with post-birth factors. So homosexuality is not inborn or determined by genes.
