    they are generally weirdos. in my area they tend to be a mix of people who are clearly on meth (not like junkies but people who can keep their shit together a little bit), mexican ranchers, gay dudes, nerdy or eccentric guys who want to talk about computers/tech, and a couple 40 year old new age hippie women.
    
    one time me and my ex were spun out and taking a lyft to go get a bong, we chose the shared lyft and got this lyft with another couple who was probably also fucked up because they started talking to us and saying they were going to get beer and asking where we were going and stuff. we were chatting a bunch and shit and i think the normie driver was kinda weirded out.
    
    another time when i lived in hawaii i went to a rave with 4 or 5 people and some of them had a hotel room that we were all taking a cab back to to smoke weed and crash at after the party. we were all super fucked up and one guy wanted to pick up some more blow and he asked the cab driver to go stop at this one gas station (at like 4 am), he got out and met the dude and came back and then the cab driver drove us to the hotel lmao
