2022-11-29 at 2:40 PM UTC in Dentist appointmentI was told I had 8 cavities that needed to be filled immediately several years back. With no dental insurance I blew it off. Years later I saw a different dentist who did cleaning and I asked if I had any cavities- he said nope! Your teeth are fine.
To this day I’ve never had a cavity…and I’ll NEVER trust another dentist without a second opinion again.
As for dealerships & those oil change places, a friend of mine worked at Jiffy Lube or Meineke…one of those oil change chains. They told him to ALWAYS tell people they needed brakes or tires. They were required to upsell services needed or not and were given a small commission for doing that. -
