Didn't read this thread.... The reason... Getting 5-10 credit cards and maxing them out and fleeing the country to go offgrid in some under-developed part of the world to live a good life vs. robbing a bank and getting caught or killed 5 mins to a week later.. for what? a couple grand if that... Come on now..

Buying small motor kits and installing them on cheap bikes, would probably be an excellent way to turn a profit.. Especially if you can sell them in a college town. Motorized or E-bikes are very trendy right now.. Could make for an excellent side hustle. Bonus points if you can customize the bikes appearance.. Either make them all unique, or go for a unified color scheme to promote your business identity.

I might be interested, but honestly it just depends. I have a background in python, but I have coded in a bit. If anything it would help me brush back up on it. Creating macros is no problem though..

seconded.. It atleast looks impressive and requires more food coordination than anything ( less focus you have to give to your arms and such). Otherwise, male dancing at a club isn't necessarily about standing out or being eccentric. Strong dominant dancing in close proximity without exerting too much energy is often all that's required. Sometimes less is more.

Really want to impress a lady, Ballroom dancing skills of any kind has the power to make the panties drop. If you can develop the skills and know how to lead efficiently, you can grab any girl and give her a twirl with simultaneously mesmerizing her. Posture is important for that style of dance. Like anything, what you get is what you put into it.. gotta put the work in. Best of luck though..

Been getting ready to do a string of 5k-10ks. Never done any before, so I'm curious to see how well I'll fair. I've been biking a lot as means of leg endurance training, and I gotta admit, it's paid off. I'd like to plan out a motorcycle adventure to go on, but I want something different. I'll probably work up a route with some obscure stops along the way. Short of that, hiking and prepping for international travel later this year. It may sound exciting or eventful, but to honest.. most eventful year I've had in a while. I was overdue.

You can potentially grow all year round and eliminate heating cost by doing an semi-underground greenhouse. There'e plenty of tutorials online, and it doesn't have to be extremely deep or large for the matter. When deciding to get into growing or a greenhouse, your best way to start and pursue that idea is to just grow anything.. literally. Grab cups, pots, or whatever.. grow whatever seeds you have. It's a hobby that takes relatively little time each day, but does take a semi-amount of skill. Using a special calendar to keep track of when you've watered, or added any sort of fertilizer will keep you from over watering or burning up the plant with too much booster.

I've been into hiking ever since I was a kid. I grew up in a rural area so exploring the nearby creeks and hills "was" practically my childhood. It's amazing the world that often times goes unnoticed because it simply lies outside the parameters of the blacktop. I've not done as much hiking in the last two years as I would have liked, but I'm looking to get back into it again. I mainly enjoy it because it's a somewhat meditative experience, allows me to get an ample amount of fresh air, and it's a testament to my capability/endurance. Not to mention, sometimes you can find some fairly interesting things when hiking.. abandoned areas, valuable plants/fungi, just interesting objects left behind on accident. There's something serene to being unplugged in a world that almost demands constant digital interaction. If your lost and can't seem to fathom where you want to go in your life, take a hike.. literally, and you might surprise yourself with what you come up with.

I mainly created this thread to garner some interest, and I'll most likely try to update semi-frequently with pictures of my hiking excursions. I'd like to do a similar thread on urban exploration, which was something I originally got into back with &T and Zoklet. But I'll save that for another thread..... Ah fuck it, I'll just change this thread title and add it here. Save some space.

Anyways, whats some of your experiences and feel free to contribute.

Idk, car went down a couple of days ago. Another expense I don't need right now. A former associate of mine literally stole a third of of one of my online investments profits. It wasn't a large amount, but it fucked with all my calculations. Trying to clean up an old house to sell in the short term so I can have an abundance of start up cash when I move to japan in a few months. Honestly, a lot of shit has been.. complicated recently. It seems like the closer I'm getting to take another big step, the more shit life has thrown at me to test my determination. I've been doing Keto for quite a few months now.. I fucking want a fucking doughnut sometimes, more than any addict wants any drug.. haha.. Idk, I'm good. Got some close family members with some serious health conditions.. Ya know, that's just how life is. Plenty you could feel bad about if you really wanted to, but that mentality is nothing short of a bad habit. So, at the moment.. I'm just determined to keep getting shit done, regardless of how I feel.

tldr; Ain't nobody got time for that..

I'm in my late 20's, but I've lived with my girl for roughly 8 years. About to move to Japan, unless something falls through, then Canada is the backup. Regardless, I'm getting out of the USA. Not because of any specific reasoning, worlds just too big to roam the same old stomping grounds for too long. In my younger years, I seriously considering moving to Cambodia or Vietnam. With the right business plan, a little savings, and the ability to talk/engage with people.. you can live a good life in those countries. At one time you could buy a hectare of land, already planted with coffee bean or tangerines for around $5000-$10,000. With an extra 5-10 grand as a nest egg to pay workers or improve upon the dwelling, it would have been an interesting life.

The only drugs I've done in the last several years is herb and alcohol.. My days of experimenting are probably behind me now. I could easily give up alcohol forever, but I'd honestly feel like life would be so unbearably bland if I didn't smoke down at least a few months out of the year.

All my friends.. Hell, nearly all the people I went to school with period are either in jail or doing meth now. I don't come from a real rough place, that shit has just taken it's hold here. Shame too, because unlike years ago when everyone had weed and loved smoking down with people just so socialize, now finding a quality bag is about damn near impossible or it'll cost you some ridiculous amount of money. Fucking Meth..

How long did RDFRN last? After Zoklet died I was crushed, but still somehow managed quite a few hundred post on Sanctuary before it kicked it as well.. I don't invest in anything anymore. Everything dies..

Impressive.. But I wouldn't buy it.

^^ I dropped my first bike immediately right after driving it for 10 secs. The reason? Adjusting to the weight and acceleration needed to turn. In short, your probably gonna wanna take that first turn slow.. even if its just circling in a lot of whatever, and likely.. without prior knowledge of experience, it may just tip on over on you. Fortunately, these sort of drops don't typically cause much damage or harm.. maybe a slightly scuffed fairing. Needless to say, the damage could also be more sever, such as the dreaded dented tank (fugyly). I started on a 650 that was slightly older, but adjusted quickly. If you've got the extra cash and wanna go the safe route, blow $150 and go take the MSF course. Atleast you can fuck around on their tiny bikes there, and when you go home to jump on your own iron horse, you'll have a much better understanding of what your doing. And I'm pretty sure you get your license or permit taking that course.. not sure, but I do know it causes your insurance to go down. Another thing, can't go wrong with full coverage on a newer model bike. Worst case scenario, you crash it out.. it's paid for, bike might still be repairable or used as a parts bike. Things to consider.

Also, I'd start on a 650 or belowe. The lower the better kinda, but if your buying a new bike I'd suggest 500-650 just because it's a good size bike for new or experiences riders. Some 300's are pretty wicked bikes themselves. Really, just gotta be realistic.. Are you going to daily driver, do you plan on riding the interstate, looking for something to go on long trips.. All those factors play a role.

Pretty sure I got off topic... Back on topic, buy a nice used bike off craigslist or go to a local dealerships and check out their trade ins. All of the guys at the local place I go to seem to be on the up and up because they're passionate enthusiast themselves and want to help the buyers get the right bike for them, instead of just making a sell.. Can't say its like that everywhere. Also, if you go through a dealership to get a trade in, always atleast try to get that first number down.. You may succeed, may not.. Or try to get some in store gear packaged with it. Never know until you try, and if you are successful, you come away with more than you would have.

Anyone here have any experience dealing with them? I've seen some videos online and been browsing the website. Mainly looking into it as an investment opportunity and as a means of increasing my bike collection. I know that not all states are the same, and some even require some sort of license of certification (likely a dealers license) to buy through them. However, I do know for a fact my state has no such requirement. Just seeing if anyone here had some insight as I continue to go through the process of figuring out the trivialities. I already expect the fee's that exist on whatever your final bid or "buy now" price is... I know I'm more of less rambling, coffee buzz is wearing off and I've been calculating potential investment vehicles for a few solid hours.

Honestly, if your pursuing a healthier lifestyle, your going to moderate your alcohol consumption anyways. Nothing wrong with having a drink or getting a buzz on occasion (everything 2-4 weeks), just don't over do it or be getting shitfaced every 2-3 days. We take our bodies for granted in out youth, only to suffer for it later.
