A lot easier downplaying the virus and making fun of masks when you get daily tests to catch it early, have Marine One land in your back yard to take you to Walter Reed where a team of doctors monitor your every move and give you a scarce drug (remdivisir) much earlier than most would get it. Or when your personal doctor is on 24/7 stand by to give you an experimental antibody already that is available to almost no-one. All off course to the total count of exactly zero dollars to your expense.
Meanwhile, average Americans have to wait ten days for even test results, will only get remdivisir when their symptoms get bad enough, do not have access to experimental treatments and get bankrupted if they even look in the general direction of a hospital.
