Walk in armed with research.....of comparable cars from different dealerships in your area....print it and have it with you.
Also add at least 1.5K to the blue book value of your car and tell them a competitor offered you that as trade in value .... don’t let them use the fact that you only have to pay taxes on the $$ you spend over the trade in value to keep from knocking the price down a bit....that’s irrelevant
Also think free add on stuff...like rain guards and auto start ..... typically they’ll throw that in for 0 if you remind them that the installation cost is not worth losing a sale over.
They think they can push women around....you go in armed with current information and they’ll back the fuck down. They make their $$ or most of it...off commission they need your business more than you need to give it to them.
