   As stated, if I were home I could make the decision. However that is not the case.

   Choosing to stay home when deemed an essential worker negates the part where it says "through no fault of their own". Though I am sure this is on a case by case basis with current situations it is still a choice made. As I said. I can work or I can go unpaid.

   I am an essential employee. I have 2 options. Continue to work or go unpaid. Granted, if I was home in Texas I would have a third option to burn through my accumulated vacation leave.
   
   I did not make the decision to put myself in the vulnerable position of escorting people to work (directly). I did not make the choice to have the room beside mine used to Medical Hold people for their 14 day required quarantine when entering country.
   
   I did however make the decision to inform my children of my DNR preference, not Covid related but in any circumstance. They've known for a couple years now.

   Normal incubation is 5 to 14 days. If everything is shut down for 14 days any normal people whom may be affected by the virus will show symptoms. Once symptoms are detectable ADULT decisions can be made. Like whether or not you infect others or stay home and heal.
   
   Hell shut EVERYTHING down for 30 days. Then most the normal people infected that do not require hospitalization will have also recovered. (As WHO states the time from onset to clinical recovery for mild cases is 2 weeks. 3-6 for more serious cases)
   
   
   
   
   Its this half-assed shit that is promoting fear and delaying progress to the well being of all concerned.

   Those people at gatherings, they are making a choice. Those people in their homes, they are making a choice.
   Those "essential workers" are not being allowed to make a choice, the decision is being made for them. They, us/we, are being told to still come to work. They are not being given the option to stay home and take precautions while collecting unemployment.
   Those people out daily because they "need" something ... not only are they making a choice for themselves but for every "essential" employee they come into contact with. And every person that employee comes into contact with. And every person the person comes into contact with ... so on and such.
   
   Either shut EVERYTHUNG DOWN FOR 2 WEEKS or shut nothing down. Those are the only 2 options that make sense. Everything else is just fluff
