My friend did this last year with jackets, coats, sweetshirts, and fleeces, all decent brand name, and like eight pair of jeans. It saved him over $1000.
You know, you could probabley buy a high end fan and buy a low end one(as long as they look similar) and then place the low end one into the box of the high end one, and return it. Not sure if its worth it though.
