When I was growing up , singers actually knew how to sing
Growing up in Chicago and In musical theatre I always was exposed to the arts most of my peers were
Being a great singer wasn’t a big deal lots of people could sing in school but we’d always have singing contests..
There was always those go to artist you’d choose one of their songs to showcase your abilities
Mariah Carey
Whitney
Brandi
Monica
These singers you knew would have great range in their songs
And there songs are fun to sing because you can play around with the riffs and all the things people do when they really sing a song
