The Iranian Parliament approved a bill Tuesday designating the entire U.S. military and Pentagon terrorist organizations after the killing of Gen. Qasem Soleimani in Iraq.
Lawmakers also backed a motion allocating $220 million to the Islamic Republic's Revolutionary Guard Corp's Quds Force to take revenge for Soleimani's death in a drone strike ordered by President Donald Trump.

Iran retaliation has started! Missiles have been launched!
WASHINGTON — Iran launched attacks on U.S. military bases in Iraq on Tuesday evening in apparent retaliation for the killing of Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani, which was ordered by President Trump.
According to a statement from the Department of Defense, the attacks began at approximately 5:30 p.m. EST.
“Iran launched more than a dozen ballistic missiles against U.S. military and coalition forces in Iraq. It is clear that these missiles were launched from Iran and targeted at least two Iraqi military bases hosting U.S. military and coalition personnel at Al-Asad and Erbil,” the statement said.
The Defense Department said it is “working on initial battle damage assessments.”

The leader of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard threatened on Tuesday to “set ablaze” places supported by the United States over the killing last week of top Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani in an airstrike ordered by President Trump, as U.S. military officials bolstered resources near the Middle East.
The U.S. Air Force is deploying six B-52 bombers to the region, amid the rising threat from Iran after Soleimani's killing, Fox News confirmed Monday. The threat was palpable Tuesday as a sea of seemingly thousands of supporters reportedly chanted “Death to Israel!” when Iran's Hossein Salami vowed vengeance in the central square in Kerman, Soleimani's hometown, where his remains arrived to be buried.

Here’s how the draft actually works, and the role FAFSA plays in signing up for selective service.
◾Any person assigned the sex of male at birth who is between the ages of 18 to 25 is required to register for the draft. Eligible citizens are required to register within 30 days of turning 18, and immigrants must register within 30 days of entering the United States.
◾If someone who is eligible for the draft has not yet registered, they’re generally unable to get federal financial aid for higher education. FAFSA offers applicants a way to register for the draft in the aid application. Those who are ineligible for draft exemption and who failed to register are not granted federal financial aid, according to the Federal Student Aid Handbook.
◾Draft exemptions include males currently in the armed services and on active duty, not including members of the Reserve and National Guard who are not on active duty, males under the age of 18 at the time they complete their FAFSA, non-citizens of the U.S. who came to the country after turning 26 years old, and transgender males.
◾Eligible males who forgo federal student loans or do not go to college are not omitted from the draft. Those who choose not to register are susceptible to a felony charge and a fine of up to $250,000, a prison sentence of up to five years, or a combination of the two.
