welp, I have scraped over 5 gallons of old dry paint thats over 20 gallons wet, off 1/4th of the house I'm painting in an area that will only take 3 gallons of paint to repaint it.
came home after 8 hrs of hard scraping bout to trim a mendo plant. atm I'm watching Tulcy Gabbert bash the democratic party as she walks away from them and calls all other dems with half a brain to come with her... I don't know who is paying attention right now in our country's politics but msmbc is outright calling people liers and frauds like they don't even realize they are about to get one hell of a slander law suit slapped down on em but fast and if they do not get WW111 fired up fast we are going to crush the left in the upcoming elections... where Tech at yo!

trying to get this house final touchup done so I can get paid, I could have called it 10 hrs ago but I see spots that need fixing so I just keep painting stuff again,, I have a problem of being to critical on my paint jobs, If I see it I can not unsseeit till I fix it.

yup, I rounded the bend this am doin 65 on a backraod and came up on 40 turkeys in the middle of the road,, I could have gotten 20 of them but I saw my buddy total his radiator one time hittin a turkey,, there little heads are Radiator high and they get even anyway they can

the contractor called today about 5 pm and said hey I got ur money I owe you plus a motel room to paint, i'll give you 500 to do it tonight, then he upped it to 6 then to 700 without me even trying to get more,, so I took the job and got paid up front along with my 500 he owed me for over a month and went to paint the room at 8 pm bout 1030 he showed up an started helping me paint, then at 1130 the other guy that works with him showed up and started painting. first coat done and in the mornin i'll go in early and double coat the walls and then paint the trim and i'll be done by 10 am,, anyways I just got home and i'm kinda tired

In my 20s I drove a lot of beaters. If you were smart you could pick up a running car for $50 or so back then. I had bought a 1971 Pontiac Bonneville for exactly $50 several months before.
One fine summer day I'm driving through town with is about 6 miles from edge to center with lights every city sized block. It's about 3:30/4:00 with heavy traffic in both west bound lanes. As I'm waiting at the 1st light on the edg3 of town this guy in his early 40s zips up beside me in an early 70s Stingray Vette. He races of when the light goes green. Now this is the part where I should mention there were no pads left on my front disc brakes. I was metal to metal and had to down shift and use the ebrake for each stop to slow that land yacht. So naturally I didn't accelerate fast in those conditions. At the next light I pulled up and stopped beside him. This continued light after light all the way to downtown.
The long and short of is this. 6 miles later, at the light in the center of town I pulled up right to the left of him. As I've said it was amfine day and his Stingray was a convertible wi5h the top down. As I came to a complete stop I looked at him smiled as I said, "Nice ride man"! He smiled back and said, "Thanks man". To which I replied, "One thing I noticed about though". He said with a look of concern, "Oh, what's that"? "It didn't get downtown any quicker than this piece of crap I'm driving", I replied.
At that point he realized a young 20s something kid had just been driving smarter than him for the last six miles. "You know what kid? Your right" he said as he slowly pulled away from the light as it turned green.
I used to get killer deals on beater cars,, one was a chevette for 75 bucks so I didnt have to walk 20 miles in the snow to get home,, one was a 12 pack of beer and one I paid 10 hits of lsd,, one time I was given a saab that couldnt get up the hill out of the neighborhood, I put 2 cans of black pepper in the radiator and drove up and backed down 4 or 5 times till it made it over the hill and I drove it for 6 months. 50 bucks for a Subaru brat 4x4 .

just got home from speed painting a porch, earlier I got caught painting above the porch roof when it started to rain again,, looks like I got lucky on that part tho cuz it didnt run,, if the porch wall paint i just laid down doesnt sag over night I should be able to be 90% done tomorrow and done by saturday ready to start the next house on monday.
now its time to play with my catdog and smoke out.
