There are a couple theories, most of them involving pre-antiquity settlement of ireland by the iberians, alternatively a less popular theory is that when the spanish armada got fucked up and crashed along all of ireland the survivng sailors blended into the gene pool. It is certainly a bit strange how dark the irish can be compared to other celtic or germanic people.
This is all of course irrelevant now as Ireland is overrun with slavs and africans but what can you do?

fun fact: back in the 90's i played with the actual computer simulators F-18 pilots used and they were literally the same as what was available on the commercial market with a few minor upgrades containing 'classified' information and computer power virtually on par with what is available on the commercial market. (not counting the hydraulics on the full-sized version)
I have a friend who got to do that as a "make-a-wish" type thing for local news he said it was radder than hell. think it was an f22 sim tho.

I wish iceland and egypt had both gone through. Croatia look extremely good. They are paired with Denmark in the knockout, should go through. Already looking forward to that matchup with Spain. Also i think mexico can definitely take out brazil if they meet in the ro16
croatia is certainly fun to watch, but iceland made them look very vulnerable, at least from the highlights. i can't see them having a chance against spain
