Ended up at a brothel smoking it with a bunch of hookers who then got pissed at me when I didn't want to fuck any. Mind you, this is all in a very dangerous part of Siem Reap. After we finish the gear and the hookers said something I couldn't understand that indicated their anger at me not wanting to fuck, I left. When I got outside some little, seedy druggo looking cunt came up to me, pulled out a knife and started demanding money. I was pretty high so didn't immediately react and said something like "come on, mate, you gotta be fucking kidding". When he insisted I showed him my wallet and he took everything in it (20 bucks).
He left and I walked off with the rest of my cash in a secret pocket I use when traveling dangerous countries. Pretty good experience really. Fairly polite robbery too. Dude wasn't screaming at me, just calmly asking for my money while brandishing a relatively small knife. I might have tried to leg it if I had any clue where I was and there was anywhere with people nearby. -

Also, Darkhunter (that fucking pig) was good value. Felt like we had a real bond comprised of mutual disgust toward each other, but deep down I know he was a softy that just need some hugs. -

In between. The way we understand mental illnesses - like the notion of madness - has historically varied. That said, given the current state of psychology and our contemporary understandings and corresponding categories for what is considered mental illness then it's certainly useful for diagnosis. But, to some extent, it remains historically contingent, with some issues more open to scrutiny and critique than others. ADHD, for instance, albeit something I haven't read much literature on, seems to be in a state of flux with regard to diagnosis and delineating the nature of the perceived defect. -

Only in the sense that we need to satisfy essential needs like food, water and sleep. Too much variability between and within cultures to make any claim about satisfying "unconscious wishes which are rooted in biological drives" other than those vital to survival with any certainty. Need to unpack that idea a bit more. What sort of wishes do you have in mind? -

Was on tinybltc earlier. That's why I made a fresh account. That said I don't know if tort and shit still post here very often..And I had to change my name slightly because I couldn't remember the password to FON so had to rename to F0N....But eh, whatever. I probably won't be posting a whole lot anyway but was pleasantly surprised to hear how people's lives have changed, seemingly for the better. At least on average. -
