2023-03-30 at 3:11 AM UTC in World to hit temperature tipping point 10 years faster than forecastOh the planet's getting hotter, And the ice caps are melting away, But don't you worry, it's just a little water, We'll all be fine, or so they say.
The forests are all disappearing, And the bees are dying off, But who needs them anyway? We'll just eat plastic, that's not so tough.
The weather's getting weird, And the storms are getting strong, But don't you worry, it's just a little wind, We'll all be safe, we'll just hold on.
The oceans are rising up, And the cities are all sinking down, But don't you worry, it's just a little water, We'll all learn to swim, and we won't drown.
So let's just keep on burning, Fossil fuels and all that stuff, Who cares about the planet, We'll just buy another one when this one's had enough. -

2023-03-29 at 5:52 PM UTC in World to hit temperature tipping point 10 years faster than forecastWe live in an oligarchy. Our political system exists to protect the oligarchs from the working class, by trying to trick people to participate in rigged politics where your only option is voting for a oligarch backed person, or another oligarch backed person. Nothing fundamentally changes in america without the oligarchs OK. We don't live in a democracy. The united states has a law forbidding communists to run for office, and democrats and republicans work hard to engage in third party voter suppression. Politics are a distraction to keep you from using your labor to hurt the oligarchs. It makes people think "maybe I dont have to strike because maybe I can play in the political system designed by and for oligarchs and maybe I can change something!" not realizing that you won't ever get actual fundamental changes from playing by the rules of their system.
Our power is in labor, not in bourgeoise politics that are rigged, and are merely a distraction to keep you from doing what would actually change things - no longer participating in this american system by doing a mass nationwide indefinite strike, backed by mutual aid networks to force the capitalists out. -
2023-03-28 at 5:58 PM UTC in World to hit temperature tipping point 10 years faster than forecastThe Fraught Negotiations Behind the New IPCC Report
Amid jockeying over edits to the latest report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), Saudi Arabia added caveats to protect fossil fuels and blocked language that stressed the limits of sucking carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere. The U.S. tried to delete a sentence about climate finance gaps and cut the word “equitable” from a line about access to international finance. China tried to cut the report’s most powerful finding from the text — that the world has 12 years to cut carbon pollution by two-thirds — but settled for putting the numbers in a table instead.

This saw select fruit and vegetables rationed in UK supermarkets, due to shortages caused by bad weather conditions in the South of Europe and Northern Africa and many growers having to cut back due to rising costs of heating greenhouses.

You launched the defensive "you mad" and that I'd say it wasn't true because I was just trolling. I just said no, not trolling, you're just wrong.
Defensive accusation denied, deflection attempt failed: your ad hoc excuse made no sense and your continued activity in this thread is clearly not making anyone mad except yourself.
So why do this, do you think?

Also basically nobody else is actually consistently posting except you
You seem pretty bothered. But, of course you're just trolling. -

I don't care about "telling the truth" on a dead forum. I thought it was pretty obvious as I've stated this clearly before, but I post this stuff because it bothers people like -SpectraL and Scaredy Prepper and that amuses me. And it's really, really easy.
Notice how nobody asks why you post here? Nobody cares. -
