I've been vaping only sativa strains all year. Decided to pick up something different for the weekend. Indica strain, GMO cookies.

Smells good, bud structure is dense and tight. Just busted some up and looks like it was cured well as it still crawls in the bottom of the grinder. Loading a few pinches into the bowl.

First puff tastes very earthy, with nutty/spicy flavors mixed in too. Very noticeable difference compared to the more citrus flavored sativas I've been favoring all year. I can already tell this is going to be more of a body-stone type of high.

Urban water crises driven by elites’ unsustainable consumption

Over the past two decades, more than 80 metropolitan cities across the world have faced severe water shortages due to droughts and unsustainable water use. Future projections are even more alarming, since urban water crises are expected to escalate and most heavily affect those who are socially, economically and politically disadvantaged.

'Once in every 1,000-2,000 years': Storm swamps Fort Lauderdale

The one-day rain total in Fort Lauderdale is equal to almost 40% of the average for an entire year, DePodwin said

Sure have been a lot of those "once in 1000 year" weather events lately.

Scientists find "unprecedented" rates of sea level rise along some U.S. coasts that's 3 times higher than global average

Sea level rise has long been expected to be an ongoing and worsening problem for U.S. coasts, but scientists have found that some areas are experiencing "unprecedented" levels of rising seas, raising concerns about the fate of already vulnerable communities.

Some people want to watch the world burn.

Some people want to sleep through it.

Climate models warn of possible ‘super El Niño’ before end of year

Climate models around the globe continue to warn of a potential El Niño developing later this year – a pattern of ocean warming in the Pacific that can increase the risk of catastrophic weather events around the globe.

Some models are raising the possibility later this year of an extreme, or “super El Niño”, that is marked by very high temperatures in a central region of the Pacific around the equator.

The last extreme El Niño in 2016 helped push global temperatures to the highest on record, underpinned by human-caused global heating that sparked floods, droughts and disease outbreaks.
