From there he stretches an already bleeding argument to wrap around the nebulous idea that everything is a hallucination and that we don't know reality at all, eventually dragging us to the hollow conclusion that consciousness is a series of controlled hallucinations.
Somewhere in all of this, he managed to interject his feelings about Brexit. I'm surprised this was a TED talk, usually when people don't have a lot of substance to what they're saying they get a TEDx.
