The input/output of your brain is nothing more than electrical and chemical signals. Like friends calling in on a party line.
The real you could actually be in a far away place, not even in this dimension.
The brain is merely an interpreter. It is not a first hand source. The brain is like asking a friend over the phone who is at the scene of an accident what the scene looks like. The caller has to trust that the friend is describing the scene accurately. And in our case, we don't even really know the friend.

What you have to remember is that angelic beings are perfect, unlike humans. Perfect beings don't make mistakes. Everything is intentional and deliberate. They don't change their minds either. That's why there is no hope for them, and why they are doomed to everlasting destruction. This is the way they want it, the way they've always wanted it, the way they always will want it. Their claim is that free will supersedes God's beneficial authority. All of this is a test of the evidence in that case. That test is about to conclude, and the verdicts and punishments rendered. This is end game.
Reality can only be as real as your brain tells you it is.
