Honestly it's kind of a new phenomenon, in the grand scheme of things.
The idea that it will become just a big market place and a new avenue for entrenched power to spread propaganda as well as clamp down on/track dissent shouldn't be surprising.

Would you feel differently for these homeless if they weren't mentally ill? like they're just able bodied but lazy or otherwise can't come to grips with modern life.? I feel like the emphasis on illness is to show their problems are not due to the choices they made but the bad hand they were dealt. To ameliorate agency. they don't deserve this. If that's the case than how is it different from eating animals who do suffer and are even more deprived of choices or options than a person?

The smoke was pretty bad here from fires in BC, probably a less than what you experienced but still august in Edmonton looked like some shit from blade runner

I've been taking care of my dad for a couple years and honestly I'm getting sick of it. I don't want to resent him and it sucks how he's ended up but having to care is getting to me. I feel like if it turned to 5 years I would look back and think "fuck"
