   generally speaking spree killers and terrorists aren't the brightest of sparks - I guess the rising popularity of vehicular attacks come from how easy it is to get a truck and bring it to the target area. it always confuses me why there are so few of them considering the sheer number of people living in poverty and/or suffering from severe mental illness, though - statistically I would've thought more people with nothing of note and no future would react violently, but I guess that's another thread.

   pretty much exactly what you said - they manage to build a virtual reality with real AI people, but due to hardware constraints they're only able to create a city. if you drive far enough in any direction you come to the end of the world. things get messy when people start to realise this.

    it's easy to solder back on, but you've got to be careful not to heat the area around the jack too much, most silicon chips are pretty heat-sensitive
