the power delivered to the LED itself isn't constant, they flicker at like 120hz or something to save power and reduce heat wear on the component -

I've been trying to buy everything that is USB-powerable or with common-ish batteries. Even my new camcorder is able to function off of a USB powerbank…even tho it's main battery is a canon-custon.
yeah but I mean generally speaking, even if they're proprietary batteries you just need to match the voltage and add a connector. standard lithium cell is a nominal 3.7v, 2 cells is 7.4, 3 is 11.1 etc.
the only time you need to worry about anything is is if your device needs high/rapid discharge cells
if you're worried about it you can add a voltage regulator but lithium cells are so standard it doesn't matter -

interesting article, an israeli scholar talks about how the IDF has become totally out of control and is likely to tear the state apart. specifically there's no accountability and they've become actively hostile to the groups that seek the return of hostages, because worrying about hostages and collateral damage gets in the way of their obsession with revenge.We are seeing more and more alienation from right-wing groups towards the demand to position the release of the hostages as a central goal of the war. There is even real hostility towards the abductees themselves and those who support them, including verbal violence. "They have become a very hated group," says Yigil Levy, a sociology professor and senior scholar of military־social relations in Israel. "Rightly or wrongly, the abductees are affiliated with the center־left camp — we are talking about kibbutzim and young people from Shabbat and holiday who went to a nature party — and therefore the struggle for a deal for their release has gradually turned the issue of the abductees into an issue for the left."

confirmed. the IDF is claiming that they now have control of the Shejaiya neighbourhood and are pulling them out, where the resistance is claiming that over 80 men of the Golani Brigades were killed (israel admits to 72 killed on the first day of operations alone, but aren't clear on numbers after that). -

I don't think it's disputed that he was videotaping politicians and celebrities to be used as political leverage, and Mossad makes the most sense as the facilitator given his and more directly, Ghislaine's ties to the organisation.
he wasn't stupid and knew how dangerous it was to play a game like that, so I have no doubt that he had a 'dead man's switch' that'd release a tonne of incriminating media if he were killed. more circumstancial, the photos released of his body showed some differences to previous photos, specifically his ears, which are considered to be as unique as fingerprints.
he's probably living incognito in Tel Aviv or something. would be funny if he shows up in a Hamas video. -
