basically the main voting database had no audit logging whatsoever, so changes could be made directly to stored data and there'd be no way to tell who made changes, when or why, or even that data had been changed in the first place. this database was accessible to large teams meaning any one of them could change data anda there'd be no way for anyone to tell.
