in a nutshell, the start to this whole thing was to make 'investors' that were 'betting' that those companies who those stocks belonged to were going to go bankrupt, making the stock worthless. the reason robbing-hood and the other ones closed trading was because there were real investors trolling those original 'investors' by dumping funds into companies that were supposed to be going bankrupt, causing their stock prices to artificially inflate to astronomical values, which resulted in those original 'investors' losing something on the order of $100-billion

HTS brought it up in chat yesterday, whether Reddit and 4chan have enough finances to spike a stock from $7 to like $350, or whether other hedge funds and vulture capitalists are jumping on board to torpedo their competitors and blame 'the internet' for it -

Modern thermobarics can reach close to low-yield nuclear weapons and won't make the entire area unliveable for the next 30 years. Chemical weapons have lower effective area but are much more flexible in how they can deployed and what for, and under ideal circumstances can remove soldiers without damaging their equipment or infrastructure, allowing you to move in and take it hours later.
