None of which justify 9 minutes of neck kneeling. That's the one I need to get past. Particularly the last 3 minutes where he was entirely unresponsive,not talking,and not moving.

what they have so far is pretty much manslaughter, but if the hold used didn't actually lead to Floyd's death then... what? internal police punishment for using improper technique?
there's not much they can pin on him if they can't prove that Chauvin acted maliciously or that the technique he used actually led to Floyd's death, even if it was unnecessary -

they had some MMA guy on saying he was strangled, ie. blood circulation cut off, but defence argued he was lucid way too long for that to be the case and that you actually need to close the arteries on both sides of your neck to cut off circulation; a knee to one side won't do it -

It would arm the device once the pressure is relieved by the act of the pirate picking it up, a safety timer would start so it doesn't go off on your porch, then when he gets to the car or his home and puts it back down, the pressure plate gets pressed again which would then initiate the device.
