   I was thinking the other day about stealing power and selling it back to the grid, like setting up solar to sell the excess power back to the power company except you steal power from an industrial complex or somewhere that'd be unlikely to notice and pipe it to your solar circuit
   
   wouldn't be a huge amount of profit but it'd be constant and like zero work

   they're probably waiting for a guarantee that the US will be dragged into it, hence the three carriers and the small tripwire force. israel enters, Hamas starts gunning them down, a US soldier dies in the crossfire and the US can (try to) justify entering the conflict. if they don't get outright USS Libertied.

    I don't think Niger will escalate into a real war, there will be tension but if they get cozy with Mali, Burkina Faso and pals it'll be too risky for ECOWAS to fuck around with.
    
    Ukraine will take years to wrap up if the west keeps supplying them, they'll be forced to negotiate quickly after the faucet gets turned off though so it depends on whether the US can keep funding two wars at once.
    
    yeah, there's no practical solution for the cartels at the moment and Myanmar doesn't give a fuck
