   it's Turkey and israel that still back the headchoppers to varying degrees, and in both cases the problem isn't so much with foreign support for anti-government groups, it's foreign troops embedded as a tripwire - for example if Assad lets the Tigers off the leash again they're inevitably going to chew up a bunch of Turkish regulars trying to retake the northwest, which will lead to direct military confrontation

    I dunno, I remember being pretty scared of Resident Evil 2 when it first came out (would've been 12 at the time). I knew it wasn't real and there was no such thing as zombies but it still made me really uneasy when I was alone at night.
