This was more an autobiography of a tormented man who can't feel happiness so seeks out endless pain to validate his life. I think he lies a lot. not liek direct lies but like a lot of it's personal with no mentions of anyone elses name and only his word for it and some of it seems exaggerated for the point of trying to inspire people but comes off as Spectral telling you how great his life was and all the things he accomplished when you know ya he did work as Loss Prevent for K-Mart but no he did not stop a serial rapist who was shoplifting some 5 year old pussy and get awarded the key to the city nad put in the newspaper and has a street named after him type shit.

one of those books that I can see why someone's dad bought it (without reading it) and brought it for their son in rehab to inspire him. But rather than inspire him, he says thanks and that he's gonna read it soon and sets it next to the food and clothes they also brought him, then when I'm in the day room bitching about how I don't want to read fucking fiction and I want the social workiers to take me to the library ONE TIME for real books, he says "I got a book you can read if you want." 'is it good?' "Idk my parents brought it, it's about the marines." and it ends up in my hands.

Also this is just my opinion, if I have a lifelong degenerative illness and if I start taking pain killers now imma be as fucked as you are when I need them later in life
Plus the body is adaptive, I feel less pain because my daily life is painful. The pain receptors are too over used in my body like your stretched out asshole to even really register when I crack my head open or wake up and can't walk right when I wake up stiff.
So I figure when I'm 60 or 70 I'll get into the constantly offered pain pills real heavy and have a nice final 5-10 years on mega doses of prendisone and opiates before I drop dead.

Every six months or so ...
I sit and watch gore videos for hours. I've had two best friends in my life and both would watch them whenever I did. My first best friend loved car crashes and air plane disasters. My second friend loved women committing homicide and shoot outs. I personally like race car crashes, bombs and shooting videos, though ISIS videos in HD is very high quality.
I like when the person I'm with also goes into a trance like state and we don't need to talk other than to say 'that one' or 'the next one.'
It's been about ten months since I watched horrible videos. Today I started at about 9pm and it's now 1am. About 12 pages of videos. Gonna watch another two hours after I'm done making espresso.
I do not like the cartel videos but really enjoy African thief punishments (fire and mobs of people). Outside of those two individuals only one other person knows I watch them. Oh and all of you now obviously.
I realize how corrupting they are to the mind and limit myself to only two or three times a year.
I wanna figure out how to get another bestie in Miami but I think it's hard to find people you trust enough to confide and expect to share the enjoyment of watching the worst form of entertainment.
