This was such a great time to be alive and on the internet. There was so much value in totse and similar websites (like erowid) that I failed to appreciate. There were so many more intelligent people talking freely. I deeply regret not taking advantage of the knowledge that was available. I regret not experimenting more. I regret passing over the spiritual and hallucinogenic knowledge that was available on totse and erowid. I regret that a full archive of totse posts isn't available. I regret not going on an ethnogenic spiritual discovery mission in the Western United States. I look back on the 2003-2006 era of the internet as being like a golden age of info and free expression. An era we lost and failed to take advantage of.
I thank OP for posting this masterpiece original thought. I got chills reading it. This is exactly what made totse so great.
I'd like to know if anyone here has suggestions for a hallucinogen retreat, preferably somewhere in the western United States, like Arizona, California or Oregon. I'd like to try peyote and ayahuasca, as well as any other ethic hallucinogen. I want to get with a group of experienced users somwehere in a secluded outdoor location. Thanks.
Edit: jf anyone knows the best ways to acquire peyote or ayahuasca, I'd also be interested in doing it alone, since the retreats I've seen are averaging around $500.
