Musk is right, this is third world debt crisis levels of spending on debt interest. The US could get away with it maybe if it was paying 0.25% interest on its debt, like Japan is, but it's paying about 4%. Countries don't generally come back from this sort of thing, they always wind up destroying their currency and causing a bunch of damage in the process.

Not really, the new thing is that disaffected immigrants have started attacking native children in order to show their disapproval at our society for how it has treated them (expecting them to work shit jobs for shit pay, and not automatically giving them a house, a car and a blonde 20yo gf). the real reason they want to pull the copper out now is because civilizational decline in the west is inevitable. if they don't do it, roving bands of handsome and well tanned individuals will. just like they do in south africa. they might as well be the ones to profit.

I work Monday through Thursday at a local automotive repair shop 4 hours a day I'm out at noon unless more stuff needs to be done. The guy I work for is an awesome dude who gets me. Friday I work at ADESA auto auctions as a driver, its more of a social thing its fun and I make about 20 bucks an hour to drive some cars and shoot the shit with other old guys.
