Similar to your's, I'm going to plant some blackberry, raspberry, and blueberry bushes here in a minute after I chug this coffee and then, assuming it's not raining, I wanted to go out into the lake with my kayak for a bit and after that, gonna grill and smoke a bunch of dead animals and have an outdoor dinner with my wife and some of her family and top it off tonight with a relaxing dip in the hot tub which I have made into a COOL TUB instead because it's fucking hot and humid and I'm not trying to BOIL MY FLESH OFF, and then gonna play video games as well, smoke weed, fuck, sleep.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire! -

Glad you all could make it out for this wonderful time we are about to have.
Let's start by planning ahead by first checking the weather,
well that's 2/3rds disappointing.
So for my weekend I have a few things in mind.
#1 is to grill a bunch which I got started on 2 days ago.
#2 is to do home improvement stuff namely put down sheet vynil flooring in a bathroom and do more painting in the formal living room.
#3 is to take my wife to the ring store to buy an enhancer for her engagement ring since we are married and all. I just recently paid off that rock.
#4 is play video games until I can't anymore (I'm wearing my back brace writing this now)
#5 is maybe buy some shit on BIDFTA or a garage sale idk.
I'm up for suggestions btw.
I'll probably start my day mowing the grass before it rains.
Right after I drink a boat load of coffee.
^That's what my wife liked at the jedielry shop we went to mid week.
The middle ring is her engagement ring. We are looking for enhancers which are the rings on either side.
There's a "as seen on tv" store down by the jedielry shop we will go to this weekend.
Oh and at some point I'd like to try smoking some creme cheese.

You had your setup all wrong anyway. You should've set up the grill for indirect heat (light one burner, leave the other burner off) and place those brats and dogs on the upper grilling rack furthest from the lit burner.
Also score your brats/dogs with a knife or poke it with a fork to prevent bursting when they swell during cooking.
I saw you got a new (to you) charcoal grill. You'll wanna cook the same way. Pile coals on one side of the grill to leave an area for indirect cooking.
Brats/dogs can be finished completely on the indirect side.
Burgers, steaks, chicken should be cooked to temp on indirect side and then final flame grill them directly over heat source for a few minutes while watching and rotating sides to give a good char.
