thermal/IR sensors pick up the heat regardless. that is why that pot is burning behind the tank…the heat sensor picks it up and explodes far enough away from the tank that the armor can protect it. shaped charges are completely shit if they detonate outside of a very, very, VERY narrow standoff distance.
