    Cis people have automatic legal recognition of their gender, without needing to jump through hoops to update IDs or documents. They also don't face discrimination in healthcare, no one questions their needs or denies them treatment. In contrast, trans people often face lengthy legal processes, expensive fees, and healthcare providers who refuse to treat them properly or cover necessary healtcare procedures. Cis people can live without the constant fear of being harassed or attacked for their gender, and they're generally protected by the law. Trans people, are more likely to experience violence, workplace discrimination, or rejection from housing. All you have to do is not be a complete bigot, but you can't even manage that.
