RUSH or a fan of Rush (band) did something like this with Witch Hunt but I couldn't find that film either.
some of these 1970s films are real elaborate and great films. like The Holy Mountain and the film The Wickerman
this would probably be a 70s esque they used to call it (there are other genre names of surrealism) but just curious if you know the film.
the one for RUSH I felt I had seen at the theater. they don't make movies like this anymore. -

we were in my hometown and they dropped it but I told them no, I just drank a 5th with them we shared and we got out of the car to walk around. it was like 1am and they were over 18 but I wasn't and a cop rolled up on me. asking me why I was out at 1am. i said I just got off the bus and we came from Oakland from a concert.
he looks at my cousin and he's just laughing and he's like "What the fuck are you on". and as he's trying his hardest to talk to my cousin who was having a hardtime conveying coherentcy his friend just darted across the street behind the cops and I started laughing because it was so cartoonish in the way he was walking and they turned and told him to come back and both cops darted after him leaving us to "Stay here" and so just as I said "yes officer" my cousin bolt and I swear I turned around and he was not there like a fucking magic trick he bolted and hopped a fence i guess.
then the cops came back and said "who was your friend" and I said, he's not my friend he's my cousins friend from North Dakota, I dont know the guy" so they put me in the back of their car but decided to just drop me off at home.
but the cartoony behavior of people on drugs was once amusing. today.. not so much. It's pathetic actually. Officially I'm a bit of a square now.

be careful you dont know what you're getting today. i did this in 1979 or 1980 when Acid was still real and readily available. people put all kinds of shit in that stuff. I mean you can get Acid just about anywhere if its legit but there was a sense of getting it with friends in San Francisco mase it more legit since it was one of the first areas in the 1960s was available.

beta was just not a good format to record a 2 hour tv movie on. it would of had gaps between change out unless you did it during commercial.
but it had double line recording which created a clearer video and even when converted to digital it looks much better but wont change the resolution but it looks more digital than analoge -
