but really, so does drinking 6 beers a week, procrastination, and doing amphetamines. i've pretty much solidified the part of my identity that says i'm never going to be a member of the mormon church, so it's kind of inconsequential to me if i can function/work/learn/exercise on them

You cannot 100% see anything at anytime so by default everything is potentially dangerous. You are acting like Bill Krozby floored the gas pedal and drove threw as fast he could, when in fact it was what I would do which would be to slowly drive up, do a looky loo to see theres no kids and drive past. That's effectively as safe as you rolling through a stop sign when you're "sure" that it's safe to do so.

Eh, in the morning they're all just getting ON the bus. If there aren't any kids obviously crossing the street to get there I dont think they should even put the stop sign out. You're allowed to drive past city buses whenever you want regardless of the potential of hitting anyone (kid or adult) that might walk into the street from in front of the bus.
