sure you can say you're working for "the man" but really you're doing it for yourself, hence working for yourself. And I realized he's right.
I'm extremely lazy and don't like to work but at the same time I definitely feel better when I have money.
I had a friend who would trash me for working at a pizza place downtown (she was garnishing unemployment and in a shitty living situation because she was basically getting kicked out for lacking the rent for her house she was renting w roomies, she did have a good job but what good is it when you don't have it anymore?)
the thing is about the pizza place I worked at was the most fun I've ever had working, I could be myself and could dress however I wanted, it was by all the bars downtown and while it wasnt a bar it was a bar atmosphere so tips were crazy I actually was able to save a lot of money working there while being able to afford stuff that I wasn't normally able to have.
That and I would play metal music and drink constantly while on the clock. I also stole a lot of money but it wasn't just me doing it, it was a team effort.

And people eat that shit up and will break up with you simply for not having a car. But I'm not trying to fuck any loose ass thots anyways, I could give a damn. Fuck driving and fuck people who think not driving makes you a loser. I'm giving it up and if people want to tell me I'm a loser for it then so be it, I'll still go to college and not take a job with a high paying company even though I could just to spite everybody.
I've had cars off and on through out my life, but theres been plenty of times where I didn't and I was just as prosperous if not more without them.
I have a nissan centra and a mazda 626. Its unfortunate though that I have to buy insurance for the mazda 626 so I can get it inspected before I sell it. such a pain in the ass.
But at the same time if someones interested in buying it there probably going to buy it on the spot so its quicky money.
My old friend from avenue b, she sold her car as soon as she moved to austin and just rode her bike to work or took the bus, I'd give her rides to the store and we'd do our shopping together so it worked out. Cars definitely can be convenient but I always think it funny when the rare person ask me why I'm walking to the store... or how did I get somewhere without a car..

Anyways I accidentally got on a one way toll road this morning and was going the speed limit and the people behind me were kinda pissed but I couldn't opt out because they had a barricade so I had to ride it out.
But yeah tolls roads are double taxation. I drove a couple times on toll roads here in tx kept and kept ignoring the bills for over a year and they sent me a bill for 500 dollars, I went to their location and told them they need to instill some kind of amnesty day they let me give them some pocket lent and erased the bill.
