My daughters mom, asked me what I wanted to name our daughter and I told her "Desiree" because I think its a beautiful name, and so I could just call her "dez" kinda like "doug". She would constantly ask me what I wanted to do but would go her own way. And she ent up picking a very hick name, but thats coming from a girl who named her cats stuff like "grey cat" "black cat" orange cat"...
