It's not a non-sequitur because at no point did anyone say Bill Krozby's inability to raise a kid makes raising kids a full time job. It's the same reason calling someone a fuck-face isn't a non-sequitur unless you say some argument of theirs fails as a result of them being a fuck-face. It may be irrelevant, but until that implicative relationship is asserted it's just that.
