   I have a theory that all image hosting sites will die eventually within a 5-10 year timespan. Imgur might have another 5-10 years but it will die someday

   there is something about free image hosting that becomes extremely unprofitable and abuseable. I had a friend that ran his own and he shut it down because it was too much of a headache.
   
   I think the only way this can be solved is totally changing the way pictures are stored on the computer so instead of using a server to host a copy and linking on a forum and having the link die eventually instead using something like a vecTOR array that also doesn't store a copy of the picture on any server idk how it would work but i'm sure there is a way with advanced AI.
