I have an appointment booked with a doctor to talk about it on Wednesday. It's the right thing to do because I don't want to hate my body for the rest of my life, access to abortion and birth control could disappear in the near-future, rape culture could come to the UK and pepper spray isn't legal here, it will save me from men lying about not wanting children only to try and manipulate me into having them later, my descendents don't belong on this hellscape to be exploited and raped, I hate men and don't want to share my genes with them. I'm just sharing this here as I know it will annoy some of you.

I talked on the phone with my GP today and she's referring me for counselling to discuss getting sterilised. It's mandatory for anyone seeking it. Rn I'm ruminating about how much I should say. I have to convince them that it's right for me but I don't want to ramble. If I bring up my hatred of men the counselling sessions may be prolonged. I need to be prepared in case they say something which offends me, like subtle manipulation tactics. Having to get counselling is demoralising enough as it suggests I may not be able to make my own decisions. I shouldn't have to explain my decisions to anyone. I'm hoping they'll see the aspergers diagnosis on my file and be all for it because of bias.

Idk what the best approach is. If I come across as unsound they may decide it's best for me not to reproduce, or they could decide that I'm not ready to make this decision. But if I come across as thoughtful they may decide that there should be more people like me on this earth, or they can decide that I can make this decision now.

I looked into this as well, but there's a very high chance that it wont work right anymore when you have them attempt to hook it back up/unkink-it ( similar for we men, and for women ). Women have so many more options than we men, when it comes to this stuff. And Frankie, I'm happy for them. Lotta gonts change their opinions and attitudes about making more people, as they get to be a little bit older, and wealthy and wise. Have you had a chance to pray about it yet?

My main reasons are:
1. I don't want to hate my body for the rest of my life.
2. Reform or Andrew Tate might win the next election and ban birth control and abortion.
3. American rapists may invade the UK.
4. Why dedicate my life to an extension of myself when I can dedicate it to myself?
5. Fuck that stress.
6. Your child could have any personality, they could be someone you dislike.
7. I don't want to have a boy and risk bringing someone into the world who will eventually hurt women.
8. I don't want to bring a girl into a world that hates women.
9. I can't ensure a child's protection throughout their life and would constantly worry.
10. I hate men and they don't deserve my genes.
11. I didn't love my parents and had oppositional defiant disorder so I couldn't deal with a mini me.
12. Getting sterilised will protect me from men who lie about not wanting children only to try and manipulate me to have them later.
13. Having a sense of control over your life is a basic human need, getting sterilised will give me that. When people feel they have no control their mental health declines rapidly.
14. It will take a lot of pressure off from unconsciously worrying about my biological clock.
15. There are other ways to leave a legacy. I can influence people to become more like me than my child would be.
16. If time is simultaneous then I will always exist.
17. My sensory issues mean I couldn't handle a toddler anyway.
18. If I feel like it later I can adopt.
19. I can finally go off birth control which has been thinning my hair.
20. Having a child would decrease my chances of being loved because it ruins your appearance.
