    Anyway everybody said bearded dragons are best. All of them were huddled up on something and didn't seem to want to come up to the glass when I was tapping on. One looked kind of interested. They were babies like 5 or 6 inches long.

    A chameleon came up to the glass like it wanted to be picked up but I looked it up on my phone and they said chameleons (or whatever one this was) were terrible pets and didn't like being handled.

    I have also heard chain pet stores can't be trusted when it comes to diseases??

    Idk if reptiles make good pets. I mean, they're better than exotic animals, like monkeys and definitely better than parrots or macaw. But what would you do with it? Just watch it sunbath in a terrarium?

    I think bearded dragons are good to run around the house mostly. You just can't house train it.

    Of course they said bearded dragons are the best lol 😂 they have probBly had them in inventory for over a year and desperately want to get rid of them.

    They are correct about the handling though I think bearded dragons are best if you want that

    Every store has those though and I consider them a pretty boring starter reptile. Maybe just because I've cared for them before.

    A chameleon or anoli would be good for something visual you just want to look at and not fuck with a lot

    Also if there's something specific you want they can probably order it for you.

    As for diseases most places are pretty good on that because they don't want them to die. They usually get medicated at the breeder and it's not really an issue from chain places maybe it's different in the USA from certain suppliers idk I never heard anything like that
