Could be a serial killer
-
2024-12-22 at 9:53 AM UTCA few weeks ago a man went missing, last said he was going for a hike. Now there's another man missing, he's vulnerable and doesn't drive. I don't know why the first man hasn't been found if he just went for a hike, why haven't hikers found him? It stands out that they were both vulnerable. I'm wondering if it's a serial killer or if it's refugees doing this. One of them stabbed a social worker in the face.

No I'm not serial killer, and even if I was I wouldn't be homicidally attracted to vulnerable men. It's the ones I feel threatened by that make me feel ready to fight. -

2024-12-23 at 1:15 AM UTCWelcome back! I got the feeling you were taking a break while you were gone, ignoring the conspiracy theories, but didn't think you'd take a break at that time.

Not really a break. I did go for a hike and discover this place that looked like it was from dark souls. I read five literature books, had an exam to study for, read survival textfiles to prepare for WW3, watched Twin Peaks, played Life is Strange Before The Storm and took steps to fight patriarchy though I can't go into detail about that, all I can say is I talked with a journalist and made a petition. -

Sounds quite eventful, to say the least! The most eventful thing I did during your absence here was going to Pakistan for a month. And thanks for reminding me, I've been meaning to watch Twin Peaks. It's been on my watchlist for pretty much years now. Now I wonder if that journalist's article will be a hit or not. We shall see. I guess if it does, you probably wouldn't post about it, since you say you can't go into detail (probably). -

Yes I wouldn't say. Just know I'm not going to quiet down or sit idle. It hasn't happened to the UK yet but I know I can't live in a patriarchy, so I'll go into politics when the time comes. This is the hill I'm willing to die on. -

You should do whatever makes you happy, really. Out of curiosity, I just searched "matriarchal countries" and found this article. https://www.unearthwomen.com/5-matriarchal-societies-where-women-are-in-charge/ Perhaps you can move to any of these countries and be apart of that community. I would personally go for China because that's the only country on the list that isn't a total shithole. The others are simply shitholes and mainly because they aren't as advanced as western countries are. But perhaps you just wish to change the society you are in and not move elsewhere as it may feel like giving up, or at least that's how it might make you feel. That said, I'm signing off now. It's 3:13 am and I think I should sleep. Goodnight! -

A matriarchy would be a nice reset, there would be peace and safety, but I'd prefer direct democracy and equality. I won't be moving anywhere. -
2024-12-23 at 2:34 AM UTCIf men were wiped out with a bioweapon humanity would probably survive because of IVF and human cloning. I don't want it to come to that but it seems a more plausible solution by the day.

The survival of humanity in such a scenario would be extremely challenging, but not entirely impossible. Here's a breakdown of the key factors:
1. **In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)**: IVF relies on both male and female gametes (sperm and eggs). If all men were wiped out, the immediate availability of sperm would be a critical issue. However, if there were stored sperm samples in sperm banks, IVF could still be used to fertilize eggs and produce offspring³.
2. **Human Cloning**: Cloning involves creating a genetically identical copy of an organism. While human cloning is theoretically possible, it is currently fraught with ethical, legal, and technical challenges². Cloning could potentially allow for the creation of new individuals without the need for male gametes, but it would not provide genetic diversity, which is crucial for the long-term survival of a species².
3. **Ethical and Legal Considerations**: Many countries have strict regulations or outright bans on human cloning due to ethical concerns¹. The use of cloning for reproduction would require significant changes in laws and societal acceptance¹.
4. **Genetic Diversity**: Both IVF and cloning would face the issue of maintaining genetic diversity. A lack of genetic diversity can lead to increased susceptibility to diseases and other genetic problems, which could threaten the long-term viability of the human population².
In summary, while IVF and cloning could provide short-term solutions, the long-term survival of humanity would require overcoming significant biological, ethical, and legal challenges. The preservation of genetic diversity would be a major concern in ensuring the health and sustainability of future generations.
