2024-12-05 at 10:18 AM UTCBesides having a non-functional start menu, Windows 11 isn't bad. Anyone else using this OS?

2024-12-05 at 11:30 AM UTCYo I'm using Doors 12 here.

2024-12-05 at 11:36 AM UTCI have it on several of my machines. Zero issues with mine. I have heard about and personally seen many issues on other people's machines and I always wonder, "What the fuck are you doing to fuck up your computer so badly?" Lol.

I use it on a couple of computers but still prefer windows10...I hate that they move stuff you are familar with around for no apparent reason...even dumb small stuff like right clicking and selecting "delete" from the menu...you now have to choose "see more options" to see the expanded menu showing the delete option...just re-re nonsense of "oh look we changed something by adding an extra step rather than simplifying things" -
2024-12-06 at 1:31 PM UTCOh and Windows 11 doesn't support the on board sound of my MAIN PC correctly (and it's not THAT an "old" PC it's a B450 Mobo) ...so I guess next year I'll have to buy or build a new one.

Oh. And I made it so I have Windows 10 style context menus at all times. Yeah, that pissed me off. There's a registry edit that fixes this, jigs. -

If only there was some sort of streamlined solution. Some sort of button on the keyboard that could act as a “one stop shop” for all of your deletion needs. Some sort of “delete button” maybe? -

Um it's not more efficient to go from using the mouse to using the keyboard...
If I'm already using the mouse browsing files to delete it's more efficient to right click delete then let go of the mouse (after highlighting the file in questions and then using the keyboard delete key. ETA..or using two hands instead of one.

So when you’re using a computer you use the same hand for your mouse as you do your keyboard? Or are you suggesting when you’re “working” you’re actually just laid back in your chair, lazily clicking shit with your mouse because you’re too much of a lardass to sit up straight and use your computer properly…
And you want to lecture others about efficiency… -
